What do all of these names mean!?! Sometimes its hard to know as a client what to ask your stylist for when you visit the salon, How do you know what to ask for? Which one do I like more? What do all of these names mean! AHHH brain fart!!!
The best advice I can recommend as a stylist is Please come with a picture/pictures of what you like and have a chat with your favourite stylist about them, you can both come to a conclusion together about what technique best suits your look! . . . (.Sometimes it can be a mix of 2 or 3 techniques to achieve your desired result!) I will go through a quick explanation of each technique.
Today we will be concentrating on Bronde hair, one of our most famous Brondes is the queen of eternal Youth. . . JLO.
Bronde; – is a colour technique that fuses brown and blonde, to create a flattering, sun-kissed colour result. … It’s a perfect way for brunettes to get a bit of blonde in their hair without going Platinum!
Balayage; – The technique involves hand painting hair, in a sweeping motion with a brush. This allows for a sun-kissed, natural looking hair colour
Brunette Balayage; – A dark brown balayage is characterized by softer, more natural-looking highlights dispersed on a dark brown base.
Reverse Balayage; – Instead of a darker base with painted-on, lighter highlights, or darker roots fading into a lighter gradient, reverse balayage focuses on painting on darker strands.
